Travellers arriving in Linz will now be getting a Capital of Culture welcome. High-traffic areas in Linz’s Blue Danube Airport are being tagged with Linz09 motifs. Key roads into town, strategic locations along local expressways and the major construction sites where Linz’s newest cultural institutions are now going up are displaying Linz09 signs and banners to let our visitors know that the city is looking forward to the honour of serving as 2009 European Capital of Culture.
