“My aim has been to create a programme that enables everyone to explore his/her own artistic and human capabilities, and to overcome (apparent) personal limitations,” wrote David Maayan, artistic director of the Academy of the Impossible. Courses offered during five workshop weeks from mid-July to mid-August are designed to get people in touch with their bodies and impart physical techniques—dance, meditation, singing and much, much more. Participants can choose a “Do It All” programme of multi-day or full-week workshops, or they can “Mix and Match” a customised lineup of one-day courses and individual sessions.
