Construction work at Linz09 Infocenter

In November 2008 the central Cultural Capital Year information point, which will be operated jointly by Linz09 and Tourismusverband Linz, will open its doors to the public. Construction work is going ahead at full speed.
The former premises of the Citizens’ Service Bureau in the building of the Tax Office East in Hauptplatz are to be dedicated entirely to Cultural Capital Year. This is the central contact point that Linzers and visitors will be turning to in matters concerning Linz09 becomes operational in November. 170 square metres will house a massive concentration of information about Linz09, tickets, info material, souvenirs and merchandising products. The Center’s staff will also be capable of handling tourist matters of a more general nature, such as booking rooms or guided tours and accessing travel information.
