The new Linz09 Infocenter is coming on stream
The Linz09 Infocenter in the Hauptplatz is coming on stream with a cornucopia of attractive special offers. To name but one example: to celebrate the Infocenter’s opening there will be 2,009 creature comforts in store for visitors.
The conspicuous Linz09 Infocenter becomes operational at 9 am on 20 November 2008. This single point of contact is located in what used to be the Citizens’ Advice Bureau Finanzamt Ost in the Hauptplatz and will be offering tickets, info material and advice on all tourism related questions, such as hotel bookings and guided city tours. Souvenirs and Linz09 merchandising products can be purchased in the adjacent shop. It is hardly necessary to mention that the Center also offers Internet access to its visitors.On the three opening days, 20, 21, and 22 November, visitors can make use of a number of special offers:
The Year Pass “Linz09 Insider” and the Linz09 Programme are available as a package for only € 30, which represents a saving of € 29.50.
Every 9th customer at the Shop will be given a token surprise gift.
Every 99th customer at the shop will be given two tickets for select Linz09 events.
During the Special Offer period the Linz09 Programme Book can be purchased at half price.
At lunchtime 2009 “Würstel” (basically two hot dogs) will be served for free immediately in front of the Infocenter.
There will be a lottery for “Linz09 Insider” pass holders, the top prize being a weekend for two in Vilnius, Lithuania.
