What Linz has in common with selected cities worldwide occupies the focal point of LINZ TEXAS. Following runs in Vienna and Graz, the exhibition is currently showcasing its playful comparisons in Berlin.

The upcoming Capital of Culture is unique in numerous respects—for instance, a remarkable talent for reinventing itself. But it’s not these highly distinctive individual features that are of interest here. Commonalities and traits Linz shares with other cities around the world make up the theme of “LINZ TEXAS. A City Relates,” an exhibition that’s running in Berlin until January 15. What does Linz have in common with Haifa, Wolfsburg, Paris or Texas? Which of Linz’s qualities can also be found in Moscow, Manchester or Davos? LINZ TEXAS seeks and finds answers to these questions—including those that perhaps remain somewhat obscure at first glance.
