It’s been wowing audiences in Linz since early May. Beginning June 19, fans in the Schärding area will be able to enjoy this enchanting entertainment.

Three programs will be presented in Orangeriepark Schärding. “The Music of the Future” heads off in search of auditory adventure courtesy of commissioned compositions by Johanna Doderer, Katharina Klement, Bernd Preinfalk and Judith Unterpertinger. Circus Lebasi showcases its wide-ranging creative artistry in a show entitled “Clownery,” thereby proving that a metronome can indeed make music and demonstrating all that’s possible with a toy piano. Biene Maja, Vicky the Viking, Pinocchio and Nils Holgerson couldn’t possibly have roles in a serious cultural program, could they? Guess again: “Once Around the Entire World” is a tribute to Karel Svoboda, the Czech composer of musicals, operas and film scores who also gained fame in Austria with his delightful melodies for children’s shows.
