Linz09 City Runner: All Aboard for the Capital of Culture
At 10 a.m. today, April 22nd, 2008, the first Linz09 City Runner got underway. Painted an eye-catching magenta and emblazoned with the Linz09 logo, the sleek, ultra-modern City Runner street car is designed to get passengers, pedestrians and tourists psyched up for the upcoming European Capital of Culture year in Linz. This is the first of three such trolleys that Linz AG, the city’s public transportation provider, is making available.The next Linz09 City Runner—this time in green and orange—will begin making its rounds in the coming weeks.
