Richard Wall: BAUERNBERG 1 – PFARRPLATZ 18
It may safely be said that Linz has made a significant contribution to the development of Ri-chard Wall. Arguably the most formative time were the years from 1973 to 1980. Photos and documents, texts and letters, drawings and paintings from this period make the beginnings of this upper austrian artist come to life. Richard Wall was born in Engerwitzdorf in 1953; he studied at Linz University of Arts and Industrial Design. Writer, painter, graphic artist and photographer; exhibitions since 1981. Numerous publications, lately ”Am Rande“ (Rimbaud Verlag, Aachen 2006), ”Rom. Ein Palimpsest“ (Kitab Verlag, Klagenfurt 2006).

Rosemarie Heidler /Christoph Raffetseder: MAMA 09
MAMA 09 is the result of a collaboration between the Art-Brut artist Rosemarie Heidler, who is based in Evangelisches Diakoniewerk Gallneukirchen, and the artist Christoph Raffetse-der. The two took the year 2009 and the activities centring on Linz09 as their topic. MAMA 09 focuses primarily on the production/presentation of pairs of paintings or collages. Most of these works have already been published in different media contexts in galleries and other art institutions in Austria and outside of Austria. At the House of Stories a wallpaper offers visitors the possibility of getting directly involved.
