Chaos and its Elements

The L’Orfeo Baroque Orchestra initiates a dialogue between French music of the late baroque period and Upper Austria’s here and now: The premiere of a work of internationally renowned Rudolf Jungwirth, who was born in Linz in 1955, will be flanked by works by the great innovator of French opera, Jean-Philippe Rameau, and by Jean-Féry Rebel, one of Lully’s disciples. What unites these highly divergent works is their theme: nature and creation.
