Gotten into Pecha Kucha Yet?

Pecha Kucha
24.05.2007

The first Pecha Kucha Night was recently held in Linz in cooperation with afo architekturforum oberösterreich.

Pecha Kucha (Japanese: gossip) is a fast, casual presentation format for creatives. It was developed by Klein Dytham, an architectural firm in Tokyo. Architects, graphic designers, fashion designers, filmmakers, new media designers etc. have the opportunity to stage easygoing, “show & tell”-style presentations of their concepts, ideas or thoughts, and to submit them to subsequent discussion. These events—which are now being held all over the world—are ideal sources of inspiration for creative networks.
Media artist Robert Praxmarer, architect Hans Lerperger, graphic artists Betty Wimmer and Margit Greinöcker, media artists Stefan Schilcher and Christine Pilsl and film maker Dieter Strauch made presentations at the Pecha Kucha Night held on May 23 at afo architekturforum oberöstereich.
