52 Ways to Save the World

The world must be saved. There are countless possibilities to help do so. Every week, the Capital of Culture year will demonstrate a new way this effort to save the world might succeed! An international idea competition is being launched in conjunction with “52 Ways to Save the World.” Entrants are free to select their artistic media and subject matter. Projects singled out for recognition will be produced and presented for a week on a rotating basis; maximum funding per project: 2,000 euros. Entry deadline: April 30, 2008.
