03.12.2007Linz09 right in the heart of town: Linz09 is setting up a central information bureau on the Main Square (Hauptplatz).
Architects invited to participate in an idea competition submitted a wide array of concepts. Caramel architekten, an architectural firm in Vienna, emerged as the winner and is now working out the actual blueprint. In Autumn 2008, the premises on the Hauptplatz currently occupied by a taxpayer assistance center will become Linz09’s central information bureau. Here, guests and locals alike will be able to buy event tickets, obtain informational material, purchase souvenirs, access the Internet, and much, much more!
