Linz09 for People on the Go

Linz09 shows the way in the Linz main station
25.08.2008

Linz09’s promotional campaign is focusing on mobility—on trains and in train stations, on streetcars, in taxi cabs and along bike paths.

People on the move in and around Linz and throughout Austria are seeing a lot more of Linz09. An express train connecting Salzburg and Vienna has been dubbed Linz09 for two years now. Our logo is also a fixture in trains and terminals throughout the Province of Upper Austria. Linz09 is working together with the Austrian Federal Railway to give the Capital of Culture a high-profile presence in two of this country’s busiest depots, Linz’s Main Station and Vienna West. Anyone who’s spent some time on the streets of Linz lately cannot have missed the bright red streetcars bearing the bigLinz09 logo. And then there are the environmentally-friendly Capital of Culture-branded taxis that have been a downtown highlight for some time now. Plus, two modes of transportation beloved by visitors to Upper Austria are spreading the word: numerous Danube excursion ship landings and several kilometers of the extremely popular riverside bike path will soon be making waves for Linz09!
