During Advent08, 16 Upper Austrian galleries are offering artworks at prices under € 500 as a way to get people to consider giving the gift of art. This Linz09 project puts the accent on affordable—enabling first-time art gallery clientele to overcome their inhibitions, and making it possible even for shoppers on a budget to acquire genuine works of art.
