“How Much Craziness Can One Provincial Town Stand?” asks The Ill Rabbit before heading off in search of answers during the Capital of Culture year. Some clues will be posted in „The Garden of the Ill Rabbit“, which will make its public debut at the start of spring on March 21.

An eccentric opening spectacle kicks off “The Ill Rabbit // Crazy About Linz,” a project produced jointly by Linz09 and Kunstraum Goethestrasse xtd. Linz’s Volksgarten Park will morph into “Garden of The Ill Rabbit” and thus an arena for remarkable narratives. And a brand-new home base for The Ill Rabbit has been set up in Kunstraum Goethestrasse xtd.
Through October 2009, the project will present installations, interventions in public spaces and exhibitions dealing with the big question: how much craziness can one provincial town stand? Crazy stories can still be submitted until March 20 via e-mail to derkrankehase@kunstraum.at, by post to KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd, Goethestraße 30, 4020 Linz ATTN: Der Kranke Hase, or anonymously online at www.derkrankehase09.com.
