You still have three days to experience the enchantment—of fascinating objects, documents and stories from the world of magic, and of superb examples of contemporary art that have wowed critics and public alike at recent international biennial shows.

The “Doing Magic” exhibition at the Nordico Museum of the City of Linz is dedicated to the sensation-loving and irrational, the superstitious and eccentric side of Linz. In addition to viewing an amazing array of objects on display, exhibition visitors are also offered the opportunity to get some hands-on experience casting a few spells of their own.
Nowadays, biennials are considered the place to be and to be seen in the world of contemporary art. And that goes for up-and-coming young artists as well as for The Big Names. The OK Offenes Kulturhaus Oberösterreich is showcasing many of the “greatest hits” from some of the world’s most interesting art biennials of 2008. The accent is on Asia in this edition of Biennale Cuvée.
Both exhibitions wind up on April 26. So hurry! They’re about to vanish before your very eyes!
