An election night party minus the partisanship this coming Sunday will offer thoughtful people interested in civic affairs the opportunity to jointly reflect on the results at the polls without all the orchestrated hoopla of party aides and campaign volunteers.

Linz09 and Radio FRO cordially invite you to join other members of the electorate on the OK Mediendeck to follow the projections based on early returns as reported online and on TV. Of course, the prime focus will be on the race in the Province of Upper Austria and the City of Linz, but parliamentary election in Germany will also get some time in the spotlight.

The key issues and political background in Upper Austria were the subject of two very interesting evenings in the KEPLER SALON last week. Political scientist Anton Pelinka discussed campaigning at the nexus of promotion and defamation, and Barbara Tóth of Falter and Michael Frank of the Süddeutsche Zeitung got together with Linz09’s artistic directors to elaborate on their campaign impressions.
