Most of us could rattle off a whole hit parade of musicians and groups from the USA or Western Europe, but just how far does your musical knowledge take you when it comes to Eastern Europe? Clueless? Then head over to Posthof. They’ll put you on the right track

12 Eastern European countries, 12 concerts in Posthof—that succinctly sums up the A DOZEN OF EUROPE concert series concept. Each group has achieved stardom in its respective homeland; now, they’re enriching the Linz music scene. For instance, there’s Pagan Metal from Lithuania, World-Dub-Trance from Hungary and Gypsy Groove from Bulgaria. Now it’s Poland’s turn. Kicking things off on November 14th will be Village Kollektiv with their fusion of electronic sounds and folk instruments, followed by RH+, an audiovisual collective that’s been making a name for itself at art festivals of late. Next up is Orange the Juice, a six-member lineup whose music is a combination of Metal and Jazz. Miloopa closes out the evening with a mix of Breakbeat, D 'n' B, Jungle, Dubsteb and Downtempo. The upshot—a don’t-miss show is on tap for November 14th.
And mark your calendar now: Our next guest is Rumania on December 12th.
