January 2009
Alte Innenstadt

Hospitality as a political issue: three “wise women” (a dark skinned migrant; a young punk; a business woman: female counterparts of the Three Magi), each representative of a group that, in the minds of some, does not “belong”, will be going from door to door in the City between 3 and 12 January. They will be asking for a token of hospitality and reciprocating in kind. Every day the three start off at 9:30 a.m. with a communal breakfast at Gragger, the baker’s (Hofgasse 3).
Their progress will be documented on film and will be posted for discussion every day at 7 p.m (maiz, Badgasse 9). On 22 January and 6 February 2009 the results of the project and the film material will be presented to the public.
