„Literary Linz” was the title of Ulrich Fuchs’ presentation at the Leipzig Book Fair held March 13-16, 2008. Linz09’s deputy artistic director gave a rundown of the literary highlights on tap for 2009.
In the Viennese Kaffeehaus hosted by Linz09 this year, the future European Capital of Culture gave a very impressive foretaste of the hospitality that awaits visitors to Linz. Attention-getters included eye-catching banners, logo-emblazoned sugar packets, Linzer Augen pastries, mugs and bottled mineral water. The café was the setting for 21 events that showcased a wide array of works by Austrian authors and publishers.
