Enthusiastic Response to the Theatrical Advent Calendar

A musical-literary program performed by David Wagner and Thomas Pohl led off the Theatrical Advent Calendar series. The captivating presentation found favor with about 50 guests.

The piano artistry of David Wagner and dramatic readings by Thomas Pohl accompanied the opening of the Theatrical Advent Calendar’s first window on December 1, 2008 at Theater des Kindes. The pair presented texts by David Wagner and Erich Kästner; some of the works featured on the musical lineup were also David Wagner’s compositions.
Theater des Kindes will be hosting artistic offerings for grown-ups and young people age 14 and up every evening at 7 until December 23. The last window will be opened on December 24 at 10 AM as part of a program designed for youngsters age 6 and up. The identity of the performing artists and the nature of their performance will be announced immediately prior to showtime.
