Cineastic goodies made in Austria are in store for the visitors of “Stadtkino”. With a programme that ranges from internationally acclaimed classic features such as “Die Siebtelbauern” to music videos and experimental films they’re in for a series of treats.

On Monday, 5 January, 5:30 p.m., “Stadtkino” is going to screen one of the all-time greats of Austrian film history, the prize winning “Hasenjagd – vor lauter Feigheit gibt es kein Erbarmen” [The Quality of Mercy] by Andreas Gruber.
Equally thought provoking is the documentary “Achtung Staatsgrenze”, which will be screened a day later. Its focus is on the lot of aliens detained in custody pending deportation. Other highlights in Januar include “Die Siebtelbauern” [The One Seventh Farmers] by Academy award winner Stefan Ruzowitzky and “In drei Tagen bist du tot” [Dead in 3 Days] by Andreas Prochaska.
