Wandelweiser Music at Jazzatelier Ulrichsberg

“Three Days of Wandelweiser” is what’s up at Jazzatelier Ulrichsberg from Friday, February 27 to Sunday, March 1. Music by experimental composers will accompany Peter Ablinger’s “Landscape Opera.”
In the spirit of Linz09’s Acoustic City project, Jazzatelier Ulrichsberg is focusing on conscious, self-determined hearing during the Capital of Culture year. To kick off this year's lineup, composers associated with the Wandelweiser international music publishing house will be delivering their takes on concepts such as “perception” and showcasing their musical interpretations on the Ulrichsberg stage. Audiences can look forward to three evenings full of music that, despite its complexity, is reduced to the essential and is sure to trigger fascinating discussions.
