Film Scenes, Rap and Hamlet at the Linz International School Auhof

I LIKTE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT – Linzer International School Auhof
Copyright: Nick Mangafas
02.03.2009

The English version will be posted shortly. Sieben Wochen lang wurde fleißig geübt, geprobt und konzipiert. Nun konnten die SchülerInnen der Linz International School Auhof (LISA) ihren Beitrag zum großen Linz09-Schulprojekt I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT präsentieren.

More than 30 fourth-year students produced a totally unique performance in cooperation with teacher Sue Grabner and artists Elisabeth Brunmayr, Airan Berg and Philipp “Fips” Kroll from Texta. LISA has a very international student body, and the various contributions by participating students were correspondingly diverse. The performances ranged from rap acts and film scenes all the way to Hamlet’s monolog. There was something from just about every genre—a lot of different languages too. And they got rave reviews from the audience that assembled for the premiere on Friday, February 27 in the LISA auditorium.
