The spotlight of attention has also been focused on the darkest chapter of this city’s past during the 2009 Capital of Culture year. But the question remains: How to deal with these architectural remnants of National Socialism? Please take part in this discussion!

The OÖ Nachrichten, a leading local daily, cordially invites you to a panel discussion of the architectural legacy of Nazism on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 6 PM in Linz Art University’s Lecture Hall A. Among the events that have led to the staging of this meeting of the minds are the much-discussed Linz09 projects dealing with the Nazi era in Linz like “The Führer’s Capital of Culture”, “Amidst Us” and “In Situ.”
The panelists are historian/author Brigitte Hamann, art history professor Norbert Huse, architect Johannes Cramer and art historian Wilfried Lipp. Erhard Gstöttner of the OÖ Nachrichten will moderate.
