Audiences are wild about Theater Mania! So THE SNAKE SHEDS ITS SKIN one more time. There’s clearly more of India to be found in Linz that one would suspect. Due to popular demand, Linz09 has added an additional performance of Arjun Raina’s poetic and humorous play on Friday, February 20th at 9:30 PM in Hafenhalle09. Tickets are available by calling the hotline at 0664 82 83 860.

The world premiere of ECDYSIS – THE SNAKE SHEDS ITS SKIN was on February 16. All performances to date have been sold out. The captivating charisma, authenticity and witty performance artistry of this exceptional Indian author, director and raconteur have absolutely captivated theatergoers in Linz.

ECDYSIS – THE SNAKE SHEDS ITS SKIN was commissioned by Linz09. It’s the story of three people from India living in Linz. Arjun Raina plays all three roles: the mysterious uncle, his niece and her simple-minded husband. Each of the three pursues a different trajectory within a realm bounded by hope, assimilation, tradition and emancipation. Raina takes his audience along on a soulful and entertaining journey between different worlds that aren’t so far distant from each other as one might imagine.

To qualify for discounts, please be sure to bring proper identification! Your reservation remains valid until 30 minutes prior to show time.

On the evening of the performance: tickets can be purchased at the venue box office, which opens one hour prior to show time.
