The Spring Festival of the Landestheater Linz and the University for Art and Industrial Design Linz

To do justice to this “spring awakening” in a year that is quite an extraordinary one for Linz, the Landestheater and the Art University have decided to stage a dual-venue festival that celebrates the ties that bind these two public institutions. In the afternoon, the Landestheater will serve as a lecture hall and the Art University will be the rehearsal space. In the evening, we’ll offer a colorfully diversified lineup that includes an exhibition opening and a reading, performances and dance intermezzi. A special highlight will be a concert by Upper Austrian cult band Attwenger. At night, thanks to the support of Linz09’s Extra Europa, the stage will morph into a dance floor on which to do what comes naturally to the beats of DJs from Norway, Switzerland and Turkey until the wee hours of the morning.
