OK Center for Contemporary Art, Mediadeck

Presentation of “SGM Iceberg Probe”
Agnes Meyer-Brandis’ Installation on Dachstein Mountain

The “Tiefenrausch” exhibition, a joint production of Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture and the OK, is reaching new heights in Upper Austria’s scenic Salzkammergut region.
Set up at the recently redesigned entrance to the Dachstein Ice Caves is artist Agnes Meyer-Brandis’ expedition tent. Inside is a high-tech probe she’s using to explore the interior structure of the Dachstein Massif.

Guests included Dr. Walter Putschögl (Linz09 financial director), Andreas Pangerl (CEO of Dachstein und Eishölen GmbH & Co KG), Norbert Schweizer (director of the Tiefenrausch project) and artist Agnes Meyer-Brandis.
