A Spiritual Midday Pause

Silence and Prayer with the Hermit at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Linz
Offered by Citypastoral Linz beginning November 28, 2008 at 12:15 p.m. in
Linz’s St. Mary’s Cathedral
(daily except Sundays and holidays)

Citypastoral’s full-time staff and volunteers cordially invite anyone who happens to be in downtown Linz around noon—on business, doing some sightseeing or for any other reason whatsoever—to briefly interrupt their regularly scheduled program and spend a few moments of peace & quiet together with the hermit.
This simple prayer service lasts about 20 minutes. It provides a setting in which to be silent and immerse oneself in tranquility.

Praying is a pause from everyday life.
Not to flee from the world but rather to consider it
from a somewhat greater distance. To clear ones head. And to calm ones heart.
Praying is reflecting on what is essential.
