Following its six-month run (including a one-week extension) in Linz’s Schlossmuseum, “The Führer’s Capital of Culture” will close on March 29, 2009.
2. Project Update: South Wing of the Linz Schlossmuseum
The opening of the new South Wing of the Linz Schlossmuseum in July 2009 is another highlight of the Capital of Culture year for the Museums of the Province of Upper Austria. The reconstruction of the part of the edifice that burned down in 1800 is a project that Upper Austria’s largest museum has been planning for years.
