“Bimbicitta” aims to introduce children to film as a medium in an exciting, imaginative manner. The budding film makers write their own scripts, design and build their own sets, operate the cameras, have their unforgettable moments in front of the camera as actresses and actors, and work as cutters.
Yet “Bimbicitta” is not only a movie town for children. It is also a town that is recorded on film by children. On filming expeditions they take stock of their town with its environs and discover it for real for the first time.
