This year, instead of Three Wise Men, Four Royal Families on their way to Bethlehem will be stopping over in Linz. They’ll be bearing gifts that betoken good things to come during the Capital of Culture year.
Linz09 defines Advent08 as the countdown to the start of the Capital of Culture year. Accordingly, this year's Advent won’t end on Christmas as usual but on New Year’s Eve. Thus, we can look forward to admiring 32 windows featuring striking Advent motifs by Viennese illustrator Nina Dietrich.
