SITTING DOWN TOGETHER – REVITALISATION OF A BINDERMICHL INTERIOR COURTYARD AS A COMMUNICATION CENTRE FOR RESIDENTS

Housing projects’ spacious inner courtyards are a characteristic architectural feature of Bindermichl/Spallerhof, the Capital of Culture Neighborhood of the Month in June 2009. One of them will be the centerpiece of “Zsammsitzn” (Sitting Together). Courtyard neighbors and guests are invited to get together. Under the direction of an artist, students at the Stadlerschule Elementary School have collected chairs that offer new seating possibilities and thus create settings conducive to communication.

ST PETER IS DEAD. LONG LIVE ST PETER!

The Bindermichl, Spallerhof, Keferfeld neighbourhoods are inseparably associated with the history of the abolished village of St Peter. This history will be made visible, audible, palpable – accessible via all the senses.
