How to get to the Hafenfest
LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATIONLinz AG Lines: From the train stations (Linz Hauptbahnhof or Mühlkreisbahnhof), take streetcar lines 1, 2 or 3:
Route 1: Get off at Taubenmarkt and transfer to bus line 27; get off at Eisenhof
Route 2: Get off at Mozartkreuzung and transfer to bus line 46; get off at Hafen
NOTE! Every Hafenfest ticket entitles the holder to ride for free on all Linz AG bus and streetcar lines beginning two hours prior to the event until 1 AM the next day.
ARRIVING BY TRAIN
Ride the free Hafenfest shuttle bus directly from the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) to the festival grounds (see below)

Located on Industriezeile near the Eisenhof bus stop
HAFENFEST SHUTTLE SERVICE (FREE OF CHARGE)
A free shuttle bus will be running about every 25 minutes from the following three parking lots to the festival grounds beginning one and a half hour prior to the festival until one hour afterwards:
1. P+R Frachtenbahnhof
Lastenstraße (expressway exit Wiener Straße), 4020 Linz
Parking free of charge
2. P+R Design Center
Europaplatz 1 (expressway exit Prinz-Eugen-Straße), 4020 Linz
Fee: €1 per hour
3. P+R Urfahraner Jahrmarktgelände
Entrance at Ferihumerstraße / Wildbergstraße (expressway exit Linz Urfahr), 4020 Linz
Parking free of charge

Hauptbahnhof (bus terminal) – Frachtenbahnhof (P+R) – Europaplatz / Design Center (P+R) (lines 12 & 25) – Hafen (line 46) – Eisenhof – Schiffswerft (line 27) – Urfahraner Jahrmarktgelände (P+R)
DIRECTIONS FOR THOSE TRAVELING BY AUTO
NOTE! There’s only a footpath leading from the Eisenhof bus stop (adjacent to Industriezeile 22) to the festival grounds. THERE’S NO PARKING HERE! If you’re traveling by car, please use the designated parking lots and then take the free shuttle bus to the festival grounds.
Traveling from Salzburg or Vienna
Take the A1 > at the Linz/Freindorf interchange, take the A7 towards Praha/Freistadt/Linz > continue on the A7 towards Freistadt > get off at Exit 9 Linz-Prinz Eugen Straße > turn right onto Prinz Eugen Straße > at the next intersection, turn left onto Industriezeile > continue straight on Industriezeile for about 1.5 km to the Hafen/Eisenhof bus stop (NOTE: There’s no parking here! Use the P+R lots as described above) > walk to the right to the festival grounds
Traveling from Passau/Schärding on Toll Roads (Autobahn)
Take the A3 > Innkreis Autobahn (A8) to the Wels interchange > continue on the A25 (signs read: Wien / A25 / Wels-Nord (Zentrum) / Linz) > at the Haid interchange, take the A1 > at the Linz/Freindorf interchange, take the A7 in the direction of Praha/Freistadt/Linz > continue on the A7 towards Freistadt; get off at Exit 9 Linz-Prinz Eugen Straße > turn right onto Prinz Eugen Straße > at the next intersection, turn left onto Industriezeile > continue straight on Industriezeile for about 1.5 km to the Hafen/Eisenhof bus stop (NOTE: There’s no parking here! Use the P+R lots as described above) > walk to the right to the festival grounds
Traveling from Passau/Schärding on Local Roads (toll-free)
From downtown Passau, cross the Danube on the Marienbrücke > turn left onto Neutorgraben > continue on Kapuzinerstraße / St2125 along the Danube to the B130/Nibelungen-Bundesstraße to Eferding > at the B129 / Eferdinger-Bundesstraße / Josef Mitter Platz (signs read: Wels / Grieskirchen / B134 / B129 / Linz), continue on the B129 > drive past Hauptplatz Linz (Main Square) on Untere Donaulände, which turns into Hafenstraße > after the curve to the right, continue straight on Industriezeile approximately 500 m to the Hafen/Eisenhof bus stop (NOTE: There’s no parking here! Use the P+R lots as described above) > walk to the right to the festival grounds
Traveling via the Mühlkreisautobahn
Take the A7/Mühlkreis Autobahn > get off at Exit 11 Linz-Hafenstraße and follow the signs to Passau / Linz-Hafenstraße (Zentrum) > keep to the left on Untere Donaulände (B129) > turn left onto Hafenstraße > after the curve to the right, continue straight on Industriezeile approximately 500 m to the Hafen/Eisenhof bus stop (NOTE: There’s no parking here! Use the P+R lots as described above) > walk to the right to the festival grounds
Traveling via the Donau-Bundesstraße (Arbing – Mauthausen – Steyregg)
Take the B3/Donau-Bundesstraße to Steyregg > just as you’re leaving the city near the Donaubrücke (Danube Bridge), get onto the B3/Donau-Bundesstraße; after the bridge, there’s a sharp right turn at Aigengutstr./B3 > get onto the A7/E55 (signs read: Linz-Urfahr / E55 / Prag-Freistadt / Linz-Industriezeile / A7) > get off at Exit 9 Linz-Prinz Eugen Straße > turn right onto Prinz Eugen Straße > at the next intersection, turn left onto Industriezeile > continue straight on Industriezeile for about 1.5 km to the Hafen/Eisenhof bus stop (NOTE: There’s no parking here! Use the P+R lots as described above) > walk to the right to the festival grounds
