Harald BODINGBAUER (AT)

Harald Bodingbauer was born in 1973 in Linz, where he studied acting and graduated from the Anton Bruckner Private University. He is one of the most active protagonists in Linz’s indie theater scene. As a member of Theaterspectacel Wilhering, he has been involved as an actor and producer in a number of productions in the Wilheringer Scheune including "Die letzten Tage der Menschheit." Since 2003, he’s worked with the Die Impropheten, a Linz theater sport group, and has been involved in productions by bühne04 and theaternyx. 2005 to 2007, he was an instructor in the LMS Puchenau’s Musical Theater Program. Since Fall 2005, Harald Bodingbauer has been an ensemble member at the Theater des Kindes (Theater of the Child). During the 2007-8 season, he toured throughout the Province of Upper Austria as the star of a classroom play entitled “Johnny Hübner greift ein.” His first stint as director at Theater des Kindes came in March 2008 with the premiere of "Die Verwechslung," a play with no spoken dialog based on a scenario by Georg Staudacher.
