Amanda PINA (ES/AT)

She is based in Vienna, studied physical theatre in Santiago de Chile and contemporary dance in Barcelona (Ex.e.r.ce), Salzburg (SEAD) and Montpellier (Centre Choregraphique National de Montpellier). In 2005 she received the grant for culture from the Chilean Government for the support of young choreographers Fondart, and in 2006 the Dance Web scholarship. Amanda works as a freelance dancer and choreographer in Europe and Latin America. Since 2005 she has worked in collaboration with visual artist Daniel Zimmermann. She also founded the creative association nadaproductions. In 2007 she received the Á la Source Scholarship for young Choreographers from Tanzquartier Wien and presented her latest piece “WE” in 8-tensions+ at the ImpulsTanz Festival 08.
