Her latest piece, DEBUT – IN MEMORY OF COMING is a powerful work about giving new life to what was old and discarded. It takes scraps of old material – images, lines, costumes, songs – from extant works and fuses these fragments into a new and independent artistic whole. DEBUT – IN MEMORY OF COMING is also a fitting introduction to a young artist who will be creating new work in Linz in 2009 as part of both I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT! THE BIG SCHOOL PROJECT OF LINZ09 and IMPOSSIBILITY OF A SOLO.
