Academy of the Impossible
Academy of the Impossible participants dared to take that first big step towards making the impossible a reality during Summer 2008. Developing each individual’s artistic skills and personal capabilities was the declared goal of this series of workshops.
Spurred on by the successful results achieved this year, the Academy will be continued in Summer 2009. The next cluster of offerings will be based in part on this year's curriculum; there will also be some new courses developed with several different artists.
Information about the 2009 Academy’s workshops, dates and times will be posted to the Linz09 website and published in our newsletter as soon as the details are finalized.
„My aim has been to create a programmme that enables everyone to explore his/her own artistic and human capabilities, and to overcome (apparent) personal limitations. Having selected renowned artists from across the entire spectrum of the performing arts, we’ve put together a set of course offerings under the motto “there is no art of the question” that emphasises precisely this boundary-transcending approach. Please join us! Partake of these summer course offerings and make the seemingly unattainable a reality. Take the plunge into the possible!
